This happens because your video card is operating at a lower color resolution than Photo Explosion can use. You should be able to correct this issue simply by setting the display resolution higher.


Follow the steps below to resolve this issue,

  1. Click on the Start button, go to Settings and open the Control Panel.
  2. From the Control Panel window, double-click on Display, and click on the Settings tab.
  3. In the Colors drop-down menu, select either True Color (16bit) or True Color (32bit) and set the Screen Area resolution to at least 800x600. After choosing the above settings, click Apply.
  4. The computer will ask you to restart before the new setting will take effect. Click Yes and restart your machine.

You should now be able to open Photo Explosion successfully.
