We recommend that the first thing you do is make sure your Windows has the most recent updates for it. Also, you will want to make sure you have the most recent video card drivers. The video card drivers should come from the video card manufacturer's website. The most recent updates for Windows can be found here:

If you are up to date on both Windows and your video card drivers, then you may need to disable Hardware Acceleration for the program. Doing so will eliminate most problems. The draw-back is that the program experience slower graphics performance.
To turn off Hardware Acceleration in the program, please perform the following steps:
- Launch the program.
- Go to the Settings menu.
- Select the Program Settings option. This will open the Program Settings dialog box.
- Click on the word Graphics in the column on the left.
- Remove the check from the check box next to Hardware Acceleration.
- Click the OK button.
- Close the program and then restart it.
If the program still continues to crash, there may be a problem with the project file you are working with. There is a feature in the program that can scan project files and correct problems. You will want to open the project file. Then, go to the File menu and select the Repair Project option.
