To add text to your project:

  1. Launch the program.
  2. Open the project you wish to work with.
  3. Go to the Insert menu and select the Text option. This will display the Insert Text window with a flashing cursor in the box on the left hand side of the window.
  4. Type in the information that you wish to appear on your project.
  5. Make any further adjustments to the text that is being inserted with the various effects.
  6. Click the OK button to insert the text.
  7. Resize and reposition the text on the page.
