PhotoImpact Pro can open and save JP2 (fit JPEG 2000 standard part 1) and JPC (JPEG 2000 file containing code streams only) file formats. Until now there is no release of a "standard JPEG 2000 file format." PhotoImpact Pro supports the JPEG 2000 codecs from the following companies: Asper software, Kakadu, Aware software, Power Compressor 1.5, LuraTech JPEG 2000 Adobe PhotoShop plug in version 1.0 and Algo Vision J2k viewer.
