Every red circle on the floor plan indicates a place where wall segments are joined incorrectly. A bad join may cause problems when creating automatic floors/ceilings, displaying the affected walls in the 3D view, and other problems.

To fix the problem, simply move a segment away and then return it to its place. If this does not help, delete the affected segment(s) and add them in again.
