When I try to run Photo Explosion 4 under Windows XP, I get an error “cannot reset background”. How can I fix this? (KB035011)

This happens to machines that have been upgraded to XP from an older operating system. To change the program compatibility, right-click on the program icon and go to Properties. Under the compatibility tab select the previous OS from the drop down menu and click OK. The program should now open correctly.
