To navigate around your project while in the 3D view, you can use either the Walk Around tool or the Fly Around tool. The Walk Around tool allows you to walk around and inside your project. The Fly Around tool revolves the camera around the center of the model.


Here are directions on accessing and using the Walk Around tool:

  1. Enter the 3D view.
  2. Open the View menu.
  3. Go to the Zoom and Navigate sub-menu and select the Walk Around option.
  4. Click and drag to walk around your project:
  • To walk forward, click and drag upwards.
  • To walk backwards, click and drag downwards.
  • To walk left or right, click and drag left or right.

Here are directions on accessing and using the Fly Around tool:

  1. Enter the 3D view.
  2. Open the View menu.
  3. Go to the Zoom and Navigate sub-menu and select the Fly Around option.
  4. Click and drag to fly around your project:
  • To rotate the model clockwise, click and drag to the right.
  • To rotate the model counterclockwise, click and drag to the left.
  • To make your model tilt downwards, click and drag toward the top of the screen.
  • To make your model tilt upwards, click and drag toward the bottom of the screen.

Here are directions on resetting the camera view:

  1. Open the View menu.
  2. Go to the Zoom and Navigate sub-menu and select the Reset Camera option.

This will reset the camera back to where it was before you started navigating.
