We recommend that you first try disabling the startup items. Directions on how to do that can be found in this article:

If that does not resolve your issue, you may need to clean the CD(s). We recommend that you clean it with a soft cloth or oil-free facial tissue moistened with rubbing alcohol. Please try this, even if these are "fresh-out-of-the-box" discs. They sometimes have a layer of fine dust from the packaging.
