Typically, this issue occurs when you have your compression settings set to a higher compression. Changing the compression settings to high quality should resolve this issue. Please try the following:

  1. Instead of using the "Save this image" icon, click on the one to the right of it labeled "Save document using a different name". This will open the Save As window.
  2. Click on the "Options" button on the right side of this window.
  3. Under the "Image quality" section you will see a slider. Drag the slider all the way to the right, where it says "High quality".
  4. Click the "Ok" button at the bottom of the window.
  5. Make sure the "Save in" box is set to where you want to save your picture.
  6. We recommend you rename the file to something different.
  7. Click on the "Save" button on the right side of this window.

Note: We normally recommend that you use the "Save document using a different name" option and provide a new file name. If you use the "Save this image" option, you over-write the original image. If a mistake was made, that will permanently save the mistake to the original image. If you use the other option, you will not be modifying the original image when it is saved. This way, if a mistake was made, you can simply delete the new "bad" image and re-open the original image to start over.
