When the program is freezing up on you, this is normally related to the program needing more memory available. There are only a couple of things that can help improve issues such as this.

Close out Greeting Card Factory
If you have opened multiple projects, you will use more system resources, including memory. When you close one project and open another, memory is used. When closing the projects, not all of the memory that was used for the previous project is necessarily freed up. Doing this for several different projects in the same session may lead to the program performing more slowly. It is recommended that one of the first things you try is simply closing the entire Greeting Card Factory program and restarting it. This should free up all the memory related to the program’s previous session.

Work with fewer pages
If you are working on one project with many pages, such as a monthly calendar, you may need to spread the project out over more than one project file. For example, if you added all 12 months to a monthly calendar project, you should try saving a copy of it with only the first 6 pages (months) in one file and another copy with the last 6 pages (months) in a separate file.

Work with fewer images
If there are many images opened in a particular project, that will take up more of the system resources. For each image that you have opened in your project, a portion of memory is reserved for that image. Depending on the size and number of images, this may lead to a lot of memory being used. You may want to try creating a new project with only a few of those same images open to see if that performs any better.

Close out other programs
If you have other programs running at the same time, they can tie up memory that Greeting Card Factory could use. It is recommended that you close out all programs that are running at the same time. You may also want to look at disabling startup items. These are programs that run every time that you restart your computer. Directions on how to disable those can be found in this article:

Install more memory
If you install more memory, your computer should perform better. This performance improvement will apply to all the programs that run on your computer. To install more memory, you may wish to consult with the computer manufacturer. They should be able to provide information on what type of memory needs to be installed.
